🌻 Sustaining Rocktown Realness: Why Your Support Matters

💜 Real work needs real funding.

Rocktown Realness operates on community-driven support, keeping Little Rock-centered stories, projects, and resources flowing. This page has had so much love, so much impact, but here’s the truth: outside of sporadic donations, I'm running this on my own dime and my own time. If I want to grow and if you want to see this grow, I need support. I give a lot—and I need to do better at asking for help. So here I am!

If you love Little Rock and have been doing the work, our paths have already crossed.

I have spent years in the nonprofit world—fighting food insecurity, working in the arts, supporting education, and helping small businesses grow.

  • 🌍 Arkansas Rice Depot – Fighting food insecurity.
  • 🎭 Arkansas Repertory Theatre – Supporting community theatre.
  • 🏛️ Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts – Supporting young artists and coordinating volunteers.
  • 🐶 Central Arkansas Rescue Effort – Running spay/neuter clinics.
  • 💡 Winrock International – Helping small businesses grow online.
  • 📢 Apptegy – Helping schools tell their stories.
  • 💻 The Iron Yard – Helping people train for tech jobs.

I was made for this.

💡 The Future of Rocktown Realness

My goal is to secure 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2025. This is just the beginning—what I’m building is bigger than me, and bigger than just a social media page.

Direct giving is the best way to support Rocktown Realness right now, but I’m excited for what’s next. This work is about impact, legacy, and truly showing up for Little Rock.

I want to build something that's gonna outlive me.

🎶 Glow State: My Anthem for Little Rock

💡 When dark times come, the real ones shine even brighter. That’s the Glow State. I wrote the lyrics to this song and crafted a prompt for an AI songwriter as part of my work in an AI certificate course with Cornell University. No matter the tool—technology, storytelling, or community action—everything I do is about elevating Little Rock.
This song is just one example of that.
