I’m knocking on 40’s door and that is still young blood for a lot of people who have seen Little Rock through far more eras than I have. I think part of what fuels my “delusion” for Little Rock’s future are pictures like this of its past.
To be clear, I mean this from an infrastructure and amenities standpoint purely. The past is clear evidence that we can build great public facilities and destinations for our city when we want to. There’s a lot of stuff from Little Rock’s past that was amazing but I only want it in 2024 if I can enter through the front door this go round if you catch the drift.
This picture is from when Park Plaza was an outdoor mall with a bowling alley. I’m personally from the “Forever 21 was a movie theater” era. If you want to know about all Little Rock can be, look at what it’s been in the past then add everyone.
